Quote for the day
While watching the Travel Channels "Bizarre Foods" with Andrew Zimmern, the topic was bugs...and how to eat them. When Jack was asked, "Would you eat the BBQ covered June bugs?" He replied, "No, I don't like BBQ sauce!"
Cincinnati "Skyline" Chili
If you've ever been to Cincinnati and never eaten Skyline Chili, you're missing out! This is Jack's favorite place to eat when visiting "Mamaw & Papaw". Here's just a brief look at his delight while cosuming a large 3-way. If you don't know what I'm talking about...it's a Cincinnati thing!
Norris Lake, TN
We have officially been "homeless" for 4 weeks now. During this time you learn that you really don't need much in the way of material things to be happy. Each of us living out of a small suitcase, not having our own home, being without a car....makes you realize you don't need all that "stuff" to be happy. I'm thankful in that the Lord provides all that we need, and in His time!
A brief photo recap of the past few weeks......enjoy!

Two Weeks in Cleveland
Well, I finally got around to downloading my pictures for the month of June. What a busy month it's been! We're wrapping up our 2 weeks here in Cleveland, where we've been visiting Brad's family. The kids have had a blast going to the zoo, science center, Indians game, swimming, the drive-in, etc. Here are just a few photos from our fun!
The kids really got a kick out of this monkey who decided to show his less desirable side for this photo at the Cleveland Zoo. Madeline said he needed to use some "Beudreaux's Butt Paste" found in the baby aisle! Jack said the monkey had just been sitting too long!

En Route
Well we have moved out of the DC area and are en route to Germany. We're currently making the rounds through Ohio visiting both families. This blog thing is new to us, so bare with us while we figure it all out. I'll be posting some photos of our recent happenings soon.
